The Canadian dollar has demonstrated some stability at its current exchange rate with the U.S. dollar. While AMSOIL has refrained from adjusting Canadian prices for as long as possible, the significant change in the exchange rate combined with increased raw-material costs have forced AMSOIL to implement a price increase in Canada effective June 1.
The increase is expected to be in the 8-12 percent range. Every effort will be made to keep the price adjustment as low as possible.
Recent Update:
The exchange rate between the U.S. and Canadian dollars is volatile once again, making it increasingly difficult to set Canadian pricing. Most recently the Canadian dollar has increased in value. In order to keep the price adjustment as low as possible, AMSOIL has postponed setting the new prices. Canadian Dealers should still anticipate a price increase June 1.
