Why Is AMSOIL Adjusting Prices?
All costs continue to rise. Our competitors have all issued up to six price increases to their distributors since the beginning of the year due to the rising costs of additives, base oils, steel, plastics and freight. While AMSOIL is working hard for our customers to keep pricing down, we are forced to implement our third price adjustment of the year to keep up with rising costs. As always, these adjustments are made as minimal as possible and with a sharp eye on our position within the market. Products will increase by an average of 1.5 percent, with some products increasing slightly less and others increasing slightly more.
Shipping Rates
Effective Oct. 1, shipping rates have also been adjusted to reflect increased shipping costs. The minimum purchase threshold for U.S. and Canadian preferred and catalog customers to receive free shipping remains at $100 U.S./$130 Can., while flat-rate shipping for orders under the threshold has increased to $9.99 U.S./$12.99 Can.

While we are working hard for you and our customers to keep pricing down, we are forced to adjust prices to keep up with rising costs. As always, these adjustments are made as minimal as possible.
Affected products are expected to increase by an average of 3 percent with some products increasing slightly less and others increasing slightly more.
Place your order before the end of April to ensure existing pricing.

AMSOIL has experimented with free shipping promotions in 2017 with the Preferred Customer program. Good news for Preferred Customers and Dealers in 2018 is that free shipping is now available on *all* orders for reasonable minimum purchases. This exciting new change is available for both Canada and the United States.
Orders over $130 in Canada or $100 in the US will be eligible for free express shipping.
Canadian orders under $130 will have a flat shipping rate of $11.99. US orders under $100, there will pay a flat shipping rate of just $8.99.
An AMSOIL Preferred Customer membership is a wholesale account for individuals who wish to buy AMSOIL products at low prices for their own use. AMSOIL has refrained from adjusting Canadian prices for as long as possible, but action is being taken to offset the significant losses derived from increased raw-material costs and continued fluctuation in the exchange rate this year. The exchange rate between the Canadian and US dollars has been more volatile recently than at any time since 1929. All projections and expert advice predict some stability in the coming months. Barring any major fluctuations in the coming weeks AMSOIL expects the adjustment to be in the 9-10 percent range — with an average increase of 9.7 percent.
